Built for the electric generation
VoltRiderHub is an independent electric mobility publication. We cover e-bikes, scooters and EVs for riders and drivers around the world — with a particular focus on the MENA region, where electric mobility is growing fastest and covered worst.
Our mission
The electric mobility revolution is one of the most significant shifts in transportation in a century. But most of the world's electric mobility content is written for Western audiences — by writers who have never navigated a Misrata street on a scooter or considered what sustained summer heat does to a battery.
VoltRiderHub exists to change that. We write for a global audience, with particular attention to the markets growing fastest and served worst: the Middle East, North Africa, and the broader developing world, where electric two-wheelers are changing how millions of people get around.
Our goal is simple: give you honest information and honest methods for smart electric mobility decisions — whether you're buying your first e-bike or weighing a scooter against transit costs.
What makes us different
Honest about testing
We do not run a physical testing programme yet, and we never pretend to. Every guide states its method: desk research, cited where a source exists, and framed as a framework where one doesn't.
MENA focus
Dedicated attention to electric mobility in the Middle East and North Africa — heat, infrastructure, import realities — a region mainstream EV media barely covers.
Independent
We are not funded by manufacturers, carry no advertising, and currently have no affiliate relationships. Nobody pays for coverage or conclusions.
Every budget tier
From budget scooters to premium e-bikes, our guides explain what your money actually buys at each level — without pretending one tier suits everyone.
Our team
Based in Misrata, Libya. Logistics professional with field experience across the MENA region working with international humanitarian and energy organisations. Founded VoltRiderHub to bring honest, practical electric mobility content to a global audience — especially riders and drivers in the Middle East and North Africa who are underserved by mainstream EV media.
All articles are currently researched and edited under the VoltRiderHub Editorial byline, overseen by the founder. We don't invent staff, names or job titles — the masthead grows when real people join it.
Editorial standards
- No invented facts. We never fabricate testing, mileage, scores, statistics, readership numbers or expertise. If we haven't verified something, we either say so or leave it out.
- Method disclosed. Every guide states how it was researched. Today that means desk research — clearly labelled, with manufacturer guidance taking precedence over our general advice.
- Sources or silence. Where we state a checkable fact, we aim to attribute it. Where we can't source a number, we give you the reasoning framework instead of the number.
- No pay-to-play. We accept no payment for coverage or conclusions, and no arrangement that compromises editorial independence.
- Corrections welcomed. Found an error? Tell us — we review every report and correct promptly.
- Reviewed dates are real. The "Reviewed" date on each guide is the date of its last genuine editorial review — currently July 30, 2026.
Affiliate disclosure
VoltRiderHub does not currently participate in any affiliate programme, and there are no affiliate links anywhere on this site. We intend to fund the site through affiliate partnerships in future. If that changes, this page will be updated before any commercial link is published, and every such link will be clearly disclosed where it appears. Commercial relationships will never determine our editorial conclusions.
